Background and experience
Hugo first joined Ogier as a paralegal in the Corporate team in 2018, where he assisted on a wide variety of both BVI and Jersey law matters. Hugo then progressed onto the trainee programme in September 2021, completing seats in the corporate, investment funds, dispute resolution and local legal services teams prior to qualifying in June 2023.
Before joining Ogier, Hugo graduated with a BA in philosophy from the University of York and has completed the GDL and LPC at BPP University in Leeds. Whilst studying, Hugo completed legal internships in London, Leeds and Tanzania.
